New York City Apartment Building Apparent Murder-Suicide of the Week

June 28, 2010 by · Leave a Comment

Investigators believe Kenneth Hines, 46, killed his wife, Rose Limada, 51, and then hanged himself with wire in their apartment, located in Weeksville / Crown Heights section of Brooklyn.

Limada’s body, found in her bed, bore obvious signs of trauma.

Neighbors said they heard screaming and a thumping sound during the night, but the man’s son made the only 911 call received.

Hines and Limada lived at 1514 Sterling Place, a 4-story, 32-unit brick walkup apartment building erected in 1922.
